Overview
The Nighthawk PDK is designed to aid in the rapid development of microprocessor-based systems.
Modules can be added or removed during development.
Currently supported are PIC processors.
The user adds only the necessary peripherals, reducing overall system cost and complexity.
For instance: A fire alarm project could begin with a button module for Test/Silence, an LED module for visual feedback, and a speaker driver module for audio feedback.
The developer might later decide to include a serial port for connecting the alarm to a central fire monitoring PC system.
This would easily be accomplished simply by plugging in a serial port module and including the serial port sample code into the microprocessor source.
A Nighthawk system can be used as a starting point for custom layouts or as a finished product.
